Handball Kosovo has a long history and rich. There are three periods that clearly outline this story:
- The first activity since the beginning, or 1948;
- Second, since independence, or 1990, and,
- Third, since 1999 until today.

1. STORY
The history of handball in Kosovo launches since 1948, when he established the first team handball great, as were Milicionari, Jedinstvo Gjakova, Peja Buduçnosti, Trepca in Mitrovica, Kosovo Pristina, Prizren Metohija, which later takes Paphos name. All these racing teams made during 1948 and 1949.

5. DIFFICULTIES
